If you are a skilled professional with a passion for both geotechnical engineering and mechanical systems, SACL, a leading Canadian Geotechnical Engineering Firm specializing in Quality Control and Quality Assurance of deep foundation systems, is looking for you


Position: Geotechnical Engineering Technician

Location: Ottawa, Ontario.

Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 Full-time permanent for 40 hours a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct QA/QC for deep piled foundation systems (and non-piled).
  • Design, install, wire, and maintain geotechnical instrumentation.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop innovative solutions.
  • Perform site investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure the required information is obtained.


Qualifications:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering Technician or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles. Previous hands-on work experience is considered a MUST.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
