Our client is looking for a business analyst on a contract basis to work in their cyber security department.


Location: Hybrid 2d - 3d/week Toronto

Duration: 6 months + 6 months extension



Responsibilities

  • Documenting business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions related to Cyber security.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in large, complex projects.
  • Experience with cyber security related projects
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in developing various Business Requirement Documents.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in developing Functional Specifications and Use Cases.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Extensive experience in creating workflows
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • Ability to achieve business objectives through influencing and effectively working with key stakeholders.
