Role Description

Hong's Health Care is a rehab clinic located in downtown Ottawa, ON. We are a friendly, close group of highly trained, passionate, and dedicated individuals. NEW GRADUATES and established therapist are welcome Currently, our clinic is so busy and need more therapists to increase the capacity.

Our vision is that all therapists will improve their clinical skills and reasoning via collaboration with the health care team and continuing education. As a team member of Hong's Health care, we will treat you like family and grow together as health care professionals.

We not only work together for relaxation massages, but we also adopt a therapeutic perspective to help those recovering from injury, pain, surgery and an array of health conditions.

Clinical case discussions of patients who are under the care of multiple therapists in the clinic occur monthly to help with understanding of the root cause of their presentation and to help refine treatment plans.

At Hong's Health Care we try to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to treatment in order to fast track recovery and function

Qualifications

  • Registered Member with good standing in CMTO
  • Must be comfortable working in a clinical setting.
  • Broad understanding of human body movement
  • Flexible treatment plan build
  • Kinesiologist, Personal trainer or relevant degree (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess clients' needs and provide appropriate treatments
  • Professional knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques
