About the Opportunity  

The traditional name for this role Sr. / Management Consultant, but the role is so much more. At the Experience Advisors (XA), we internally refer to this role as a Sr. / CX-EX Consultant, where CX/EX stands for “Customer Experience” and “Employee Experience”. The role is simple and complex at the same time and full of exciting challenges.  


The successful candidate must have experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where a high degree of professionalism, strong communication skills, and flexibility are required. The individual is a proactive performer that demonstrates excellent initiative and judgment on a regular basis. The ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing and competing priorities is a must. As a Sr. / CX-EX Consultant, you are primarily responsible for leading and/or supporting the design and execution of various “experience” related projects for clients across industries and sectors.  


About You  

You are a dynamic individual who likes to continuously learn and develop their competencies in the CX and EX consulting landscape. You have experience in uncovering customer insights within organizations and building approaches to analyze / synthesize information to arrive at opportunities to close gaps. You have proven success in owning major workstreams and outputs, a strong understanding of strategic frameworks, communication concepts, as well as the ability to design and facilitate working sessions with clients. Your enthusiasm, follow through, and go with the flow attitude enables you to thrive in establishing and nurturing relationships with clients during all engagements.  


Sr. / CX-EX Consultants are a critical position within XA’s Advisory team and are required to have an educational background and/or work experience that meets the following criteria:  


  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, Finance or Business Administration - MBA / Masters degree is not required but is strongly preferred for this role.  
  • Between 2 years (min for Consultant) to 10 years (max for Sr. Consultant) related experience - Previous management consulting experience is required for this role.  


Ideal Sr. / CX-EX Consultant are exceptional in their ability to:  

  • Develop Compelling Outputs / Deliverables: you can develop effective reports, infographics, maps, etc. by turning data into insights in a clear, compelling way through visuals and writing.  
  • Solve Problems: you can find answers to questions and use data to find creative solutions to problems across businesses strategy, people, process, and technology landscapes.  
  • Navigate the “Grey Area”: you are comfortable with the unknown and able to produce results without clearly defined instructions or processes.

About the Role & Responsibilities  

  • Lead small-medium projects and/or key workstreams within client engagements.  
  • Lead and/or support Senior Advisory Team members in the execution of CX-EX consulting engagements with clients, including. o Build and execute ongoing project management activities throughout lifecycle of engagements (for Sr. Consultant).  

o Design research approach, methodology, briefs, and materials.  

o Perform secondary research and data collection activities.  

o Facilitate interviews and working group sessions and meetings.  

o Gather and analyze large amounts of qualitative / quantitative data.  

  • Lead and/or support the development of major deliverables and outputs within client engagements.  
  • Lead and/or support Senior Advisory Team members in the execution of business development activities (i.e., collateral development and proposal writing).  
  • Manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.  
  • Transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.  
  • Stay up to date with CX and EX domain knowledge, skills, best practices, and industry trends.  
  • Perform additional collaborative duties as assigned.
