Hardware Engineer


A leading company in the electronics industry is seeking a Hardware Engineer. This organization is renowned for its innovation and quality in battery systems and chargers and is currently expanding its product line globally. The successful candidate will work on new product designs and provide support for existing products.


Requirements:


  • Advanced PCB layout skills for high-speed digital, analog/linear, and switching power conversion.
  • Ability to work on new designs and debug/modify existing ones.
  • Hands-on experience with analog, power, and digital circuit design, including schematic design, PCB layout, fabrication/assembly, bring-up, test/debug, and documentation.
  • Understanding of DFM/DFT.
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Experience in taking product development projects from inception to manufacturing.
  • Excellent debugging skills with tools like logic analysers, storage scopes, and protocol debuggers.
  • Basic firmware skills for board debug and bring-up are an asset.
  • Knowledge of Safety Agency requirements and compliance design.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC requirements and mitigation strategies.
  • Proven track record of meeting project deadlines and goals.



Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years in hardware (electronics) design and product engineering for commercialized products, covering the complete product life cycle: R&D, NPI, and sustaining engineering.
  • Experience in product development within a quality system that complies with regulatory standards.
  • Experience in ISO9001/ISO 13485 and cGMP environments, including design documentation, risk management, verification, and validation.
  • Knowledge and experience in obtaining and maintaining industry certifications.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and FMEA.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient in planning, scheduling, and organizing tasks.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
