Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Fire Technician at Earth Wind and Fire Inc. located in Vancouver, BC. As a Fire Technician you will be responsible for performing fire protection system inspections, testing, and maintenance. They will ensure compliance with fire codes and standards, troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions, and provide regular reports on system conditions. The Fire Technician will also collaborate with other team members to ensure the safety and security of buildings and occupants.


Qualifications

  • Valid ASTTBC certification as a Fire Alarm Technician or equivalent
  • Experience in conducting fire protection system inspections, testing, and maintenance
  • Thorough understanding of fire codes and standards
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate reports
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments
  • Valid driver's license
  • Additional certifications or training in fire safety is a plus
