Cost Controller

Agilus is recruiting for a Cost Controller in the Oil&Gas Industry in a hybrid work environment in Edmonton, Alberta.
Fantastic opportunity to work for a well recognized energy industry employer, hybrid schedule available. One year + contract.
Responsibilities:
- Use standard templates and provide detailed forecasts and supply information for regular monthly reporting.
- Manage some of the overall project documentation, change requests, decision documents, lessons learned
- Customer Metering Migration Programs for both gas an electric, $30m budget over 2-3 years.
- Track portfolio costs and variances and support individual project managers on their projects
- • Perform overall program and individual project cost controls
- • Support overall program and individual project reporting i
- Analyze actuals and variances to plan
- Quantify impacts of risks to costs and manage contingency (allocated and unallocated)
Must have:
- Very strong excel skills - pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Minimum 5 years in Cost Control
