Job Overview: As a QA Tech, at Cove Drinks, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the entire beverage creation process. From product development and regulatory compliance to supplier collaboration and process optimization, you will lead our efforts in delivering outstanding and innovative beverages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with Quality Assurance documents (HACCP Plans, CCPs, pre-requisite programs, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.) and complete corresponding records.
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits and operational reviews, providing timely feedback and corrective recommendations to the QA Manager and the Plant Management.
  • Perform quality inspections on raw or finished product reports at set frequency to ensure products are within specifications.
  • Assist Quality Manager in the identification, development, and implementation of changes to specifications and the Quality Management System
  • Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Perform investigations into customer complaints and foreign material findings.
  • Organize shelf-life studies for new products, re-formulated products, IPD tests, customer requests and for new packaging.
  • Assist with Exporter Organic Process and Audits.
  • Assist / review NFT’s, Labels and Carton Specs.
  • Assist with Sensory Testing, Retains and Sample shipments.
  • Liaise with R&D for new inputs, new recipes, and recipe updates.
  • SOP creation and review for all processes.

·       Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Food Sciences.
  • Related 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing production environment is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and Quality regulatory requirements and systems.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing food processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
