New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to help our client with a large site redevelopment project. The role will manage IT Infrastructure planning and implementation activities in partnership with a related organization. This role will work collaboratively with the two organizations and the Construction Manager, to analyze, plan and implement the IT Infrastructure.


Responsibilities:


  • Meet weekly (virtual and/or in-person) with all the teams to build relationships and ensure clarity on roles and responsibilities.
  • Create project charter and workplan for the implementation and delivery of the IT Infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with Infrastructure Standards and Specifications.
  • Make recommendations to leadership on IT Infrastructure and Health integration components.
  • Escalate risks and issues as needed.
  • Assess existing IT Infrastructure (network, processing and storage) to support Early Implementation Opportunities (EIOs) as well as validating minimum specifications defined for the new Centre.
  • Follow the client's project management processes and tools.
  • Support the project’s One-Team culture, to support requirements and ensure a successful delivery of IT scope.


Requirements:


  • 9+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Extensive IT Infrastructure related experience, specifically in network, Wi-Fi, and telephony.
  • Experience working with facility build/redevelopment projects.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience working within large transformation projects.
  • IT Infrastructure related education, training and/or certification is preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of CST Cerner EMR is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to form partnerships.
  • Proven ability to support a collaborative team approach and clear decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively with staff at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

The hourly rate range for this position is $75 - $105, with the final rate based on consultant experience and fit for the role.
