Responsibilities

  • Development and architecture of real-time communication services. 
  • Focus on telephony applications using a variety of open-source and commercial platforms. 
  • Partner closely with operations and other cross-functional program team members. 
  • Any other related responsibilities that would fit within the job role. 

 

 Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience in a related field. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an engineer working with VoIP/SIP applications. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience coding and creating SIP Services with Asterisk / Freeswitch, and OpenSIPS / Kamailio. 
  • Advanced English language skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience in Python, a solid plus. 

 

Our ideal candidate would have either have a skillset in (or an interest to learn) the following: 

  • Technicals: Python, SQL, cloud environments/architectures, messaging or event-based asynchronous systems, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • DevOps: Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Ansible, Consul, and AWX.
  • Misc: Experience with CloudFlare and other infrastructure automation tools.
