Join our medical administration team and make a direct impact on the delivery of safe, exceptional patient care. Our shifts place you in a variety of work environments such as hospital in-patient care units, outpatient clinics, hospital-based physicians’ offices, and administrative departments. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8-12-hour shift.

Job Qualification

Our “exemplary standing” with Accreditation Canada is held in the highest regard and is a testament to the fact that we uphold the same hiring standards and patient care delivery as the facilities in which we serve.

• Graduate from a Medical Office Administration Diploma program or equivalent

• Successful completion of Level One Medical Terminology course

• One (1) year of administrative/ward clerk experience in a healthcare environment

• Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 7, Microsoft Office, Meditech, Clinical Connect, and Community Wide Scheduling

• Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, both verbal and written with the interdisciplinary team

• Must have an interest in working in an acute care hospital setting

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

• Proof of current immunization for tetanus, pertussis, polio, Hep B, measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV)

• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past year or negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years

• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire

Please note that based on recent government mandates and directives, healthcare workers are now required to provide proof of full COVID-19 Vaccination. If successful, new hires will be required to provide proof of vaccination prior to their start date.
