About the Project

The Cross Fraser Partnership (CFP) is delivering an eight-lane immersed tube tunnel to replace the existing George Massey Tunnel on Highway 99. This major project will improve transportation for vehicles, transit, cyclists, and pedestrians

Role Overview

The Risk Analyst will support the Risk Manager, focusing on qualitative & quantitative risk assessments (QSRA & QCRA) for cost and schedule impacts. The role involves facilitating risk assessment workshops, conducting risk modeling, and developing mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & implement risk management plans (identification, analysis, response, and monitoring).
  • Conduct risk interviews & workshops to prioritize risks and build mitigation strategies.
  • Lead schedule & cost risk assessments (QSRA & QCRA) to analyze financial and timeline impacts.
  • Support lessons learned reviews, cost evaluations, and schedule critical path analysis.
  • Advise project teams on risk treatment plans and integration with project controls.
  • Provide risk reports & presentations for Project Leadership & Stakeholders.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in Risk Management & Analysis in heavy construction/infrastructure.
  • 3+ years in risk assessment, mitigation, and management on large construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience with QSRA & QCRA for cost and schedule impact analysis.
  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks & tools:
  • ACUMEN, SAFRAN, @RISK, PRIMAVERA, ARM (Active Risk Manager).
  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years in construction, EPC, or heavy civil infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication, with stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Risk Management Lead (CRM) or membership in AACE / PMI.
  • Experience in facilitating risk workshops & coordinating large stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of EPC projects & public infrastructure development.

The expected salary range for this opportunity is $110,000 - $135,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate's experience and geographical location. Listed compensation is exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits program which is listed above.
