Job Overview:

As the Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for the verification and recording of receipts and materials requirements to ensure inventory accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production orders are closed on a timely basis in MS Nav with accurate costing per order.
  • Coordinate with Production and Logistics to ensure the accurate receipt of Production Orders and reporting scrap.
  • Process (report consumption) all materials requirements as per procedure.
  • Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the system.
  • Advise management of cycle count/inventory issues on a timely basis.
  • Ensure proper month end reporting and cut-offs.
  • Maintain the department database, prepare routine reports, and file inventory control records.
  • Responsible for monitoring the returns and hold process.
  • Regularly enter inventory data into NAV on a timely basis


Recipe for Success:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and equipment for food processing and high-speed packaging, as well as Bakery Manufacturing including ingredients
  • Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets.
  • Strong judgement, analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions.
  • Good ability to motivate and empower team members by providing feedback and recognition.
  • Strong computer systems (MS Office, ERP systems)
  • Ability to prioritize demands in a fast-paced work environment.
