We're looking for a talented Design Manager that has the passion for creating exceptional digital experiences.

About the Role

We're seeking a Design Manager to lead and elevate our design team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, strategy, and leadership—ensuring that every project meets the highest creative and conversion-focused standards. You will collaborate with our team of designers, strategists, and developers to push the boundaries of digital design, delivering visually stunning and conversion-driven experiences for our growing number of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of UX designers, motion designers, strategists, and developers to produce exceptional digital experiences across Shopify e-commerce sites, mobile, and web apps. Oversee the end-to-end design process, ensuring high-quality execution from concept to delivery.
  • Develop and maintain design strategies that balance aesthetics, user experience, and conversion optimization, particularly for fashion brands and other industries. 
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business goals into innovative, visually compelling, and data-driven design solutions.
  • Guide the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that drive engagement and conversion, leveraging tools like LogRocket, Crazy Egg, and Google Analytics to analyze user behavior. Maintain and evolve design systems for consistency across projects.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI, motion design, and digital strategy. 
  • Thrive in fast-paced startup environments, where creativity meets strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX/UI and brand design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. 
  • Proven expertise in Shopify-based eCommerce solutions, SaaS, and B2B product design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-converting digital experiences, including UX/UI, motion graphics, and branding. 
  • Advanced skills in Figma for prototyping and collaboration, along with deep knowledge of user experience best practices, design systems, and interaction design.
  • Experience using analytics and A/B testing tools like LogRocket, Crazy Egg, and Google Analytics to inform design decisions. 
  • Ability to balance creativity with business objectives, ensuring designs drive measurable results.
  • Thrives in fast-paced startup environments, demonstrating adaptability to shifting priorities and rapid decision-making (mandatory). 
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience presenting to clients and stakeholders. 
  • Passionate about innovation, culture, and crafting digital experiences that captivate and convert.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preference will be given to candidates in Canada
  • Knowledge of Framer and Weblow
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and prototyping tools
