ESG Analyst

Based in the Head Office of Premium Brands, the ESG Analyst is a key part of the Corporate ESG team. They will have a wide range of duties to support the success of the Corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) program. The ESG Analyst will contribute to ESG reporting, consolidation, and analysis in a fast-paced environment and help coordinate various sustainability disclosures for a large corporation. This is a permanent, full-time position with growth opportunities to develop yourself and your career in this increasingly important area of focus for businesses.

Experience and Technical Skills:

• Recognized university degree specializing in business administration/commerce/ economics/sustainability/environmental discipline. 2+ years of professional experience.
• An open and articulate communicator with robust analysis, presentation, and written communication skills. 
• Demonstrated experience with data collection, extraction, and manipulation techniques.
• Experience in report writing and/or demonstrated skills in writing clear and concise copy for a diverse audience.
• Knowledge and familiarity with various ESG frameworks, standards, and disclosure requirements is an asset.
• Experience measuring or validating GHG inventories is an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office desktop applications. Experience with data management IT systems is an asset.
• Ability to perform concurrent tasks in an organized manner, change priorities and reallocate resources as applicable.
• A self-starter who can operate both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
• Specific industry knowledge and experience in manufacturing and distribution is an asset.
