Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a broad range of network support, including for network switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, NAC, and WAN circuits
  • Install and configure both physical and virtual network devices to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Contribute to small projects, working independently or with the team under appropriate supervision to support project delivery and network enhancements
  • Maintain accurate and detailed network documentation for client networks and support monthly network reporting for managed clients
  • Support and maintain network monitoring systems and platforms to ensure network stability, perform configuration changes, and conduct scheduled maintenance, including software upgrades
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates on incident progress and changes. Be available for after hours emergencies and actively participate in team and client meetings


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or certificate in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Network+, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Aruba, Juniper, Microsoft Azure, or Amazon AWS
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an MSP or related environment.
  • Advanced understanding of network systems, firewalls, and VPN technologies is essential
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems, with experience in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, or other cloud providers, and familiarity with network monitoring platforms like SolarWinds, PRTG, or Auvik
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on addressing end-users' needs and maintaining positive client interactions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrates a proactive and self-motivated attitude with a commitment to continuous learning


Salary Range: $75-90k/year
