Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Report Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining reports using tools such as Power BI, SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), and creating database views. Proficiency in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes is also required. If you have a passion for data visualization, a strong understanding of database concepts, and experience in report development, we want to hear from you.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and other reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that reports meet business needs.
  • Optimize report performance and usability for end-users.
  • Create and maintain database views to support reporting needs.
  • Perform data analysis and manipulation using ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Utilize SQL and other query languages to extract data from various sources for reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in report engineering and data visualization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality reports.
  • Document report requirements, design specifications, and data mappings.
  • Maintain documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven experience in report development using Power BI, SSRS, and other reporting tools.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience in creating and optimizing database views for reporting purposes.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
