The Opportunity:

Our client, a leader in the insurance sector is looking to add a Personal Lines Insurance Sales Broker to their growing team in Hamilton, Ontario. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in sales, with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic and an interest in the insurance sector.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Assessing clients insurance needs, and evaluating risk
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
  • Generating new strategies to attract clients
  • Responding to company and/or client concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Completing documentation with accuracy
  • Attending networking events and conducting in-person meetings to generate and close leads


The Ideal Candidate:

  • Post-secondary education
  • 3+ years of sales experience in personal lines
  • RIBO license or OTL license
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong influential skills
  • High level of computer skills, with previous knowledge working with EPIC and Compu-quote an asset
