About Senaltek Architecture Planning + Design Ltd.:

Based in Edmonton, Senaltek Architecture Planning + Design a Ltd. is a client-focused architectural firm that offers professional architectural and prime consulting services across Alberta and British Columbia. Our projects span new construction, renovation, and tenant improvements in the commercial, institutional, industrial, multi-family/mixed-use, and heritage sectors. As our firm continues to grow, we are looking to add capacity to our team with a talented Project Architect or Intern Architect who shares our passion for design and client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute architectural projects, including on site data gathering and assessments, charrettes, drawings, plans, specifications, design analyses, opinion of costs, studies, design review meetings, and deliverables submission packages.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to architectural technologists and contract administrators, ensuring design intent is accurately executed throughout all project phases.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain design integrity, technical accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and Coordinate Development Permit and Building Permit submissions.
  • Manage project deliverables from design inception through to construction. Coordinate project deliverables with engineering subconsultants.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, by-laws, and standards in Alberta and British Columbia.
  • Manage and track deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assist with construction contract administration and conduct field reviews.
  • Deliver client-focused service, ensuring project needs and timelines are met.
  • Contribute positively to our dynamic and diverse team environment.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Architect or Intern Architect with the Alberta Association of Architects and/or Architectural Institute of British Columbia
  • Demonstrated experience in architectural design and technology, specifically within Alberta and/or British Columbia.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and familiarity with other design and project management software.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, by-laws, and standards applicable in Alberta and British Columbia.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to ensure effective collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining our firm's standards of project delivery.
