About the Role: As a Senior Unreal Engine VFX Developer, specializing in GIS and 3D modeling, you will be instrumental in enhancing visual effects for training solutions. You will:

  • Develop high-quality visual effects using Unreal Engine, focusing on realistic simulation experiences.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate these effects seamlessly, using GIS data to accurately render terrain and environments.
  • Utilize advanced 3D modeling techniques and a variety of software tools to improve the fidelity and interaction of simulation assets.


Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in VFX development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Unreal Engine.
  • Proficiency in C++, Niagara VFX system, materials, blueprints, and optimization techniques within Unreal Engine.
  • Specialized knowledge in GIS for realistic terrain and environmental rendering in simulations.
  • Experience with 3D modeling tools, particularly UA7 and OpenFlight models, and familiarity with the FBX format for asset optimization.
  • An understanding of DirectX and OpenGL for rendering optimizations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams, excellent communication skills, and a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
