Position Title: Occupational Therapist (hiring for multiple locations across Canada)
Summary:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Occupational Therapists to join our team on a locum basis.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve daily living skills.
- Help patients improve motor skills, coordination and balance through therapeutic exercises and activities.
- Manage a high case load with diverse patient populations.
- Maintain appropriate written records of assessment, treatment plans, progress and discharge documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in the province of work.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experienced in community based Occupational Therapy and connecting with clients in-home.
- Experience in case management and working with diverse patient populations.
- Professional Liability Insurance (PLI).
- Covid-19 vaccination.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient care and safety.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed for locum assignments.
