The Director, Fleet Analytics role involves leading the Fleet Analytics team to drive innovation in commercial vehicle management and maintenance. The position requires deep expertise in fleet management, data-driven insights, and collaboration across various departments to improve vehicle uptime, utilization, safety, and regulatory compliance while reducing maintenance costs.


Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Provide Fleet Analytics design and consulting within the Fleet Analytics team
  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and develop predictive maintenance strategies
  • Create and tire programs focusing on optimization, performance tracking, and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop strategies to improve fuel efficiency and manage fuel costs
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities within maintenance operations and implement initiatives to achieve cost reductions
  • Coordinate and collaborate with different departments to ensure alignment of analytical initiatives with business goals
  • Develop training materials and programs
  • Mentor team members to enhance their analytical and technical skills


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:


  • Proficiency in the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Valid truck technician license (310T) with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial vehicles
  • Ability to analyze maintenance data, identify trends, and develop predictive maintenance strategies
  • Expertise in developing, implementing, and managing tire programs
  • Experience in analyzing fuel consumption data and developing strategies to improve fuel efficiency
  • Skills in identifying cost-saving opportunities within maintenance operations
  • Proficiency in using data analysis tools and techniques to generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and actionable insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
