Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Controls Engineer to develop, execute, and lead projects related to automated equipment and processes. This role requires problem-solving, team leadership, and ensuring project timelines are met in alignment with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical manuals, drawings, and troubleshooting guides for automated equipment.
  • Support validation and preventative maintenance of automated equipment.
  • Interface with automated systems to improve cycle times, reduce downtime, and eliminate defects.
  • Assist in developing equipment controls requirements and specifications.
  • Support New Product Development automation needs.
  • Work with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and other automated systems, including robots, servos, and vision cameras.
  • Travel requirement: Up to 30%.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering or related field with focus in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • PLC development experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience in HMI development (Ignition system).
  • Strong experience with PLC programming (preferably Rockwell).
  • Hands-on experience with servos, robotics, and at least one database project (SQL).

Desired Skills:

  • Strong oral, written communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Capable of working effectively in teams.
