Our Nurses work closely with diverse Indigenous communities (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), providing care to community members. We hire nurses all over Canada who travel to remote northern communities of British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.


Available positions: Community Health Nurse (CHN), Registered Nurse (RN)

We provide a unique way to experience an expanded clinical scope of practice while enjoying an adventure at the same time Each assignment is a minimum of 2 weeks with a 12 week commitment for the year.


The work you will do:

  • Work in a team atmosphere within an expanded scope of practice providing healthcare services to pre-natal and adult patients for trauma and primary care, including delivery of newborns, treating minor acute illnesses and injuries, and conducting general treatment clinics
  • Utilize the skills of observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching according to care plan
  • Ensure that, on an ongoing basis, the emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients are met to the greatest possible extent within the scope of practice

Who You Are:

  • You are a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and have a nursing license through the governing body in good standing
  • You are a licensed Nurse registered in good standing
  • You have or are willing to obtain a nursing license through the regulating body in the province or territory you wish to work
  • You meet the required work experience (ER/Acute/Critical Care/ICU/Remote or isolated community experience) of the province or Territory you wish to work in (1500 to 3000 hours depending on location)
  • Mandatory skillsets and additional training requirements and reimbursements will be discussed during interview
