Job Title: Intermediate/Senior Civil Engineers – Bruce Power Major Component Replacement

Rate Range (All-in and no per diems): $65-85/hr

Experience: 6-12 years of experience required

Description: We are seeking experienced Intermediate/Senior Civil/Structural Engineers for an exciting opportunity with Bruce Power Major Component Replacement project. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of this critical project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise and confidence to provide engineering judgments to promptly resolve field issues, particularly those impacting critical path activities.
  • Perform hand calculations for mechanical systems with ease and proficiency.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in working with aluminum and steel materials.
  • Ability to perform simple modeling and/or manipulate 3D models to support project requirements.
  • Apply knowledge of nuclear design codes/standards to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Experience with concrete design is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Bruce Power ECC process and Maximo usage will be considered an asset.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
  • Preferably hold a P.Eng designation with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Comfortable working at Bruce Power Kincardine - B72 location. Remote work may be allowed as per project requirements.
  • Contract duration: 1 year with possibility of extension based on project needs.
