Solaris System Administrator

Title: System Administrator (Solaris)
Duration: 1 year
Location: Remote (Canada)
***Must have Secret clearance or have lived in Canada for 10 consecutive years***
Duties:
- Assist with operational support for the Solaris 11 environment
- Contribute to Solaris OS patching and remediation practices and cycles
- Assist with planning and execution Solaris patch management using best practices
- Assist with execution and planning of installation, configuration and tuning of Solaris servers using OVM.
- Provide input to and/or developing necessary documentation (build books, operation guides)
Requirements:
- 8 + years of demonstrated work experience as a System Administrator
- Experience working with Solaris 11
- Unix System administration and hardware support
- Build automation (Scripting, Packaging, Ansible, OpsCenter)
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related field
