KTI Utility Services is thrilled to announce a major project in the Halton Region area and are seeking self-starting individuals to add to the plumbing team If you consider yourself to be an independent worker, with a great attitude, that loves to interact with customers, then this job is for you


What’s in it for you?

  • Full-time employment, 40hr/week average, with EI and CPP deductions
  • Salary: $45/hour
  • Location: Halton Region, ON
  • Contract Length: 1 year contract (to be renewed if needed)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday 40-hrs/week average, with occasional Saturdays required from time to time– hours/days may be subject to change if needed
  • Monthly auto allowance then moves to a company supplied vehicle

What would your day look like as a plumber with KTI?

  • Install new residential and commercial water meters, fittings and gaskets
  • Perform plumbing on residential sites across the City
  • Locate curb-valves
  • Assess commercial sites
  • Assist other KTI crews when required
  • Communicate with clients on site
  • Complete work orders electronically
  • Commercial mechanical plumbing
  • Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager


Who is our ideal candidate?

  • 2+ years of plumbing experience (installer experience is an asset)
  • Great attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service experience
  • Able to comfortably enter completed work orders on a company-provided tablet/cell phone
  • Able to work with minimal supervision


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Valid Plumbing license
  • Valid driver’s license (G2 minimum) and a reliable vehicle (with a valid insurance)
  • Mandatory clean criminal background check and drivers abstract
  • Basic tools of the trade
  • Some Saturday/evening work may be required from time to time
