A career as a DevOps Developer in the IT observability team at National Bank means acting as a technology specialist. Through your expertise in observability, automation, your experience in CI/CD and infrastructure management, and your knowledge in Cloud and container orchestration, you’ll have a positive impact on user experience and the efficiency of IT operations.
Your role:
- Ensure the operational continuity of observability platforms (24/7).
- Simplify processes by developing effective automation solutions.
- Understand project needs and address their pain points.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of observability practices.
- Manage incidents and identify their root causes.
- Optimize resources and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new solutions.
Your team:
Within the technology transformation sector, you will be part of a team of six colleagues and report to the IT Observability Leader. Our team stands out for its expertise in automation, high-quality solution delivery, and its ability to enhance user experience through continuous innovation.
We work in a dynamic environment focused on the SAFe methodology and Scrum organization, where continuous improvement is our priority.
We support our tools 24/7 on a weekly rotating schedule shared among team members.
Development opportunities:
We prioritize a variety of continuous learning formats to enrich your development, including on-the-job learning, access to training materials, and collaboration with colleagues with diverse expertise and backgrounds. You will also have the opportunity to participate in advanced training sessions on observability tools, Cloud, and automation to further develop your expertise and versatility in the field.
Prerequistes:
- Knowledge of modern observability tools such as Datadog and Splunk (an asset).
- More than 5 years of experience in development and automation solutions.
- Expertise in CI/CD, with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS.
- Proficiency in Terraform and/or Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, with a preference for EKS.
