LeverageTek is actively seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect for a 9-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team to gather and analyze requirements
  • Be responsible for the design of the technical architecture solution
  • Design Salesforce solutions using declarative customization, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools
  • Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of solutions that are optimized for performance
  • Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for a technical architecture on the Force.com platform
  • Document technical specifications, solution designs, and development best practices
  • Leverage expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions to tailor Salesforce functionalities to meet the specific needs of government agencies or public institutions
  • Implement solutions for citizen services, case management, grants management, legislative affairs, regulatory compliance, and other public sector requirements using Salesforce Public Sector Applications
  • Utilize government-specific data models, security standards, and compliance regulations to ensure data privacy and adherence to government policies
  • Ensure data security and privacy, access control, effective application, and operating system interface
  • Interact with the business team to gain an understanding of the internal environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction
  • Review current systems, negotiate, develop a plan, and propose solutions that align with the application
  • Work with development, infrastructure, and management to design an integration framework that will promote the sharing of data
  • Confirm and prioritize project plans and deliverables with the internal staff and customer
  • Effectively apply best practices to deliverables and uphold quality
  • Determine which features need to be enabled to meet demands of partners
  • Documentation including technical specifications, solution designs, and best practices
  • Knowledge transfer and training to the project team members, as needed
  • Data model design updates
  • Status Reports


Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of Salesforce implementation experience, including development, across the full software development lifecycle
  • Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as a senior-level Salesforce Solution Architect Lead
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Salesforce Public Sector Applications, including Government Cloud, Case Management, and Government Data Architecture


Qualifications

  • 3-year diploma / degree in Computer Science/Systems/Engineering/Information Systems or Business Administration or a combination of education and work experience
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, customization, security, and administration
  • Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proven expertise in data migration and integration with Salesforce using tools like Data Loader, Workbench, or other ETL tools
  • Minimum of two (2) Salesforce Certification out of:

Data Architecture and Management Designer

Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer

Identity and Access Management Designer

Integration Architecture Designer

Community Cloud Consultant

Platform Developer I

  • Experience with Microsoft tools such as:

Visual Studio

Azure DevOps

Azure Cloud Services

SQL Server

Power BI

  • Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, large volume data, single sign on, and master data management
  • General experience with real-time integration; experience with integration on the Force.com platform
  • Experience with multiple, complex, and at least one large Salesforce implementation project involving multiple releases, change management process
  • Understanding of best practices and design trade-offs, with the ability to communicate design choices
  • Awareness of mobile solutions and considerations
  • Awareness of data migration considerations, design trade-offs, and common ETL tools
  • Awareness of common third-party solution providers for Salesforce
  • Experience designing test plans and evaluating effectiveness
  • Experience with lifecycle methodologies
  • Proven success with projects involving the skills and technologies above, with a portfolio of references to speak for the work
  • Knowledge of internet and cloud architecture paradigms


Assets

  • Experience with Federal Government and/or Crown Corporations
  • Experience with granting organizations
