Job Title: Sr. Bigdata Developer

Rate: 50-60 CAD/Hour


Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Bigdata Developer to join our team. As a Sr. Bigdata Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our big data infrastructure, including Spark, Scala, Hive, Hadoop, SQL, and UNIX. You will work closely with our team of data scientists and engineers to build and optimize our big data solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain big data infrastructure using Spark, Scala, Hive, Hadoop, SQL, and UNIX.

- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to build and optimize big data solutions.

- Design and implement data processing pipelines.

- Develop and maintain ETL processes.

- Troubleshoot and debug big data solutions.

- Ensure data quality and integrity.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data development.

- Strong experience with Spark, Scala, Hive, Hadoop, SQL, and UNIX.

- Strong understanding of big data architecture and data processing pipelines.

- Experience with ETL processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
