Your Opportunity

The Senior Manager is an integral part of the investment team who is at the forefront of Lankin Investments' growth strategy. Working with the Senior Director, Investments, the Senior Manager is responsible for leading the acquisition, disposition, and due diligence processes across Lankin Investments' portfolio. This role involves financial analysis, transaction management, and risk assessment to support strategic investment decisions. The Senior Manager will coordinate with stakeholders and ensure efficient execution of transactions.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial modeling, investment analysis, and back test historical performance to refine investment strategies.
  • Review and execute Confidentiality Agreements and Letters of Intent.
  • Coordinate with brokers on acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Prepare investment proposals and board packages.
  • Identify and escalate potential transaction risks.
  • Manage due diligence, ensuring thorough review and coordination with internal teams and third-party consultants.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and oversee document management.
  • Address financial discrepancies and provide actionable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in investment transactions.
  • Analyze historical investment performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for future acquisitions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical insights for leadership.
  • Conduct back testing of market research methodologies to validate assumptions on vacancy rates, migration patterns, and growth trends, ensuring data-driven investment decisions.
  • Lead the sourcing and structuring of new debt financing for prospective acquisitions, ensuring optimal terms and alignment with investment objectives.

Leading Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in investment analysis or a related role.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including back testing methodologies, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Deep understanding of real estate investment and transaction processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
