Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Salesforce Architect / Staff Engineer to join our client's team in Vancouver, BC. In this role, you will lead the team architecturally while also being hands-on in implementing and optimizing Salesforce solutions. You will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance Salesforce applications, providing technical leadership, and ensuring best practices in Salesforce architecture and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the architectural design and strategy for Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Hands-On Development: Actively participate in the development, configuration, and deployment of Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Solution Design: Design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom applications.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in Salesforce architecture, development best practices, and integration techniques.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, processes, and development standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve the architecture and development process.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect or in a similar role.
  • Strong background in Salesforce technologies including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform development.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices for Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of integration tools and techniques, such as REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions, and ETL processes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
