Brunel is seeking a Project Manager for our client in the aluminum and metals industry to join their team in February 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Be a leader in HSE requirements and ensure Zero harm or incidents in all phases of the project including engineering;
- Report all incidents no matter how minor;
- Ensure Quality Assurance practices are followed through all phases of the project;
- Ensure project & construction management personnel and teams are focused and accountable for adherence to HSE requirements, scope, budget, schedule and that they hold Contractors accountable for the cost and the quality of their work.
- Lead the project team to deliver the agreed business requirements and boundary criteria, including but not limited to selecting the most appropriate contracting strategy and resourcing accordingly;
- Coordinate project team resources in order to achieve agreed project plans;
- Understand and provide input into agreed baseline schedules;
- Ensure all project disciplines and functional leads have input into their relevant schedule and estimate requirements and are held accountable to the agreed dates and costs;
- Review Project Histograms (home office and contractors) regularly and challenge where required;
- Ensure all project data is correct and loaded into Global Capital Management System (GCMS);
- Engage regularly with Asset owners / customers;
- Be open and transparent and declare bad news early;
- Seek support or advice when required for relevant Subject Matter Experts or Global Capital team members;Review and maintain Project Risk Register Monthly with relevant disciplines;
- Control and report project status to business owners and major stakeholders;
- Prepare and present various project Powerpoint presentations;
- Manage and challenge changes and notify of change early;
