Pour un rôle de consultant en support axé sur Dynamics NAV/D365 BC, la connaissance de C/AL et AL est essentielle. Cette expertise permet au consultant de dépanner, de maintenir et de mettre à niveau efficacement les systèmes, en fournissant une assistance complète aux clients fonctionnant sur différentes versions du système ERP. La compréhension des deux langages permet au consultant de gérer un large éventail de problèmes techniques, depuis les solutions NAV existantes qui utilisent C/AL jusqu'aux dernières implémentations de Business Central exploitant AL. Cette double expertise garantit que le consultant peut proposer des solutions et un support optimaux pour maximiser l'utilisation du produit dans différents scénarios clients.


• C/AL : Il s'agit du langage de programmation utilisé dans les versions antérieures de Microsoft Dynamics NAV, la solution ERP destinée aux petites et moyennes entreprises. C/AL est utilisé pour personnaliser et développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités dans les environnements Dynamics NAV. Les professionnels travaillant avec Dynamics NAV doivent souvent comprendre et utiliser C/AL, en particulier lorsqu'ils traitent des systèmes existants ou migrent vers des versions plus récentes.


• AL : avec la transition vers Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC), Microsoft a introduit AL comme nouveau langage de développement. For a support consultant role focusing on Dynamics NAV/D365 BC, knowledge of both C/AL and AL is essential. This expertise allows the consultant to effectively troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade systems, providing comprehensive support for clients running on different versions of the ERP system. Understanding both languages enables the consultant to handle a wide range of technical issues, from legacy NAV solutions that use C/AL to the latest Business Central implementations leveraging AL. This dual expertise ensures the consultant can offer optimal solutions and support for maximizing product use across different client scenarios.


• C/AL: This is the programming language used in earlier versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV, the ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses. C/AL is used for customizing and developing new functionalities within Dynamics NAV environments. Professionals working with Dynamics NAV often need to understand and work with C/AL, especially when dealing with legacy systems or migrating to newer versions.


• AL: With the transition to Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC), Microsoft introduced AL as the new development language. AL is used for extending and customizing Dynamics 365 Business Central, which is the cloud-based successor to Dynamics NAV.
