LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.Work LocationHybrid (Toronto or Ottawa)Security RequirementMust be eligible for a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability ClearanceKey TasksCollaborating with the project team to gather and analyze requirementsDesigning and implementing Salesforce solutions using declarative customization, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development toolsDeveloping custom applications, workflows, triggers, and integration solutionsConfiguring Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and approval processes to align with public sector business processesConducting data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading into SalesforcePerforming unit testing and assisting with system and user acceptance testingTroubleshooting and resolving defects and issues in Salesforce applicationsProviding technical expertise and guidance to junior developers and stakeholdersDocumenting technical specifications, solution designs, and development best practicesDeveloping and maintaining reports, dashboards, and analytics to assist in data-driven decision-making within public sector organizationsLeveraging expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions to tailor Salesforce functionalities to meet the specific needs of government agencies or public institutionsImplementing solutions for citizen services, case management, grants management, legislative affairs, regulatory compliance, and other public sector requirements using Salesforce Public Sector ApplicationsUtilizing government-specific data models, security standards, and compliance regulations to ensure data privacy and adherence to government policiesConfiguring role-based access controls, user permissions, and data sharing rules to align with public sector security requirementsSalesforce applications developed and customized according to the project requirements and for public sector use using Salesforce Public Sector SolutionsData migration activities completed successfully, with data integrity maintainedTest cases, test scripts, and test results for unit and integration testingDocumentation including technical specifications, solution designs, and development best practicesKnowledge transfer and training to the project team members, as neededReports, dashboards, and analytics tailored to assist public sector decision-makingOngoing maintenance and supportEstimated level of effort for tasksData model design updatesStatus ReportsThe Senior Salesforce Developer will be required to maintain the confidentiality of all project-related information, client data, and intellectual property.
