We are looking for an IT Automation and Observability Technician to work with one of our clients based in Montreal (Hybrid setup) .


his is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and operations, enhancing reliability, efficiency, and innovation across critical IT services that drive our global business.


YOUR MISSION


As part of the Automation and Observability team, you will:


🔹 Monitor and Maintain IT Infrastructure: Play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing a 24/7 monitoring platform for servers and networks, ensuring system reliability and uptime.

🔹 Automate Processes: Develop solutions to streamline and optimize workflows, reducing manual intervention and enhancing operational efficiency.

🔹 Support Global IT Operations: Collaborate with teams across multiple regions (France, UK, LATAM, APAC) to align tools, processes, and best practices in support of seamless service delivery.

🔹 Leverage Key Technologies: Utilize cutting-edge tools like NNT Change Tracker, ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, and others to ensure robust monitoring, asset management, and observability.

🔹 Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry standards and internal policies, participating in audits and compliance reviews.


THE ROLE


You will be part of a strategic team that bridges IT and business operations, enabling predictable outcomes and efficient service delivery for mission-critical systems. By focusing on Infrastructure Monitoring, Change Management, Asset Management, and Incident/Problem Management, you will directly contribute to the stability and growth of our IT ecosystem.


LOOKING FOR:


  • 3-5 years of experience in IT monitoring, architecture, or automation.
  • Basic understanding of Windows/Unix systems, networking, and SQL databases.
  • Proficiency with scripting languages like Python to create automated solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed teams.
  • A passion for innovation and introducing ideas that improve performance and productivity.
