Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift and EKS clusters in a hybrid cloud setting.
  • Ensure containerized applications' availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with OpenShift and EKS.
  • Develop complex hybrid cloud architectures and align them with business goals.
  • Maintain documentation of architecture designs and configurations.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and present updates to stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and guide them on best practices.
  • Coordinate with global teams for successful cloud solution implementation.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Atlassian tools and integrate Git into DevOps workflows.
  • Apply ITIL processes and utilize ServiceNow for service management and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and conduct regular audits.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive OpenShift & EKS experience, minimum of OpenShift & EKS Associate or Professional certification
  • Strong expertise in managing complex, hybrid architectures in enterprise environments
  • Proven track record of working with both engineers and leadership / management
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present comfortably and effortlessly
  • Experience working in international and intercultural environments
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English (German and/or Spanish a plus)
  • Extensive knowledge working within a DevOps environment utilizing the Atlassian stack
  • Extensive knowledge working with Git
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, experience with ServiceNow a plus
  • Experience working in highly regulated (pharma) environment a plus
