THE ROLE

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Personnel Support Programs (PSP), the Deputy Manager, Personnel Support Programs (PSP) plans, coordinates, manages, monitors, and evaluates the operations and delivery of specialty interest operations and applicable facilities. The Deputy Manager, PSP plans, analyses, evaluates, formulates, develops, adapts and implements financial and administrative methods, procedures, standards and guidelines. The Deputy Manager, PSP provides advice, guides and directs operations and managers in the day-to-day operation of the applicable facilities. The Deputy Manager, PSP assists with development of budgets and business plans and monitors revenues and expenses. The Deputy Manager, PSP administers, analyses and forecasts budgets, expenditures and financial activities.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience

Experience

  • In planning, coordinating and managing business operations
  • In applying policies, procedures, regulations, and applicable legislation
  • In preparing marketing strategies
  • In business planning
  • In managing facilities
  • In personnel administration
  • In budget administration

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced
