The tasks involve:

  • Ensuring that equipment is in optimal operational condition.
  • Performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Conducting pre-commissioning checks for systems and equipment.
  • Carrying out necessary tests on the test bench, identifying any anomalies that arise.
  • Studying, diagnosing, and identifying complex malfunctions and failures of all types of equipment.
  • Quickly implementing corrective measures on-site or remotely.
  • Providing customer support, both within and outside of Canada, by installing and maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, etc. (availability to travel as needed by the company is required).
  • Being able to provide training on systems and processes in both English and French.
  • Demonstrating proactivity in problem-solving, thereby offering quality customer service.
  • Performing all other related duties required by the position.

Requirements:

  • DEP in Electromechanics (Mandatory).
  • 5 to 7 years of experience as an electromechanic (Mandatory).
  • C License (an asset).
  • Health and safety card for construction sites.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in programming, instrumentation, and electricity.
  • Experience with variable speed motor controllers – Danfoss – (an asset).
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers – Phoenix Contact – (an asset).
  • Valid passport for international travel (Mandatory).
  • Bilingual (French – English) (Mandatory).
  • Valid driver's license.

 

Ideal candidate:

  • Sense of organization and structure.
  • Good ability to read plans.
  • Ability to work at heights.

 

Salary: Starting from $31 per hour, based on experience + various bonuses as applicable (e.g., local or international site bonus, weekend or holiday bonus, red phone bonus).

Schedule: 40 hours per week (multiple schedules to choose from).
