Grades 9 - 12 Summer School Teaching Pool

E-Learning Courses unless stated as “in-person” below. As well, all summer school courses will only run where there is sufficient enrollment. Teachers will report to the Principal of Secondary Summer School.

Successful candidates will be assigned to one or more of the following courses; therefore, courses are often combined. All courses are both reach ahead and repeat credits.

Grade 12 Health & Nutrition (HFA 4C, 4U)

Grade 12 Human Growth & Development (HHG4M)

Senior English (ENG 4U, 4C, NBE3C, NBE3U)

Intermediate English, (ENG 2D, 2P, ENL1W)

Senior Math (MCV4U, MHF4U, MDM4U, MAP4C, MCR3U, MBF3C, MCF3M)

Intermediate Math (MPM2D, MFM2P, MTH1W)

Senior Physics (SPH 4U, 3U)

Intermediate Science (SNC 2D, 2P, 1W)

Civics and Career Studies (CHV/GLC2OE, CHV/GLC2OF [Offered in both English and French])

Senior Physical Education (PPZ3C)

Intermediate/Senior Physical Education: Basketball (PAL 1O, 2O, 3O, 4O) [in-person at Chippewa PM)

Intermediate/Senior Physical Education: Volleyball (PAL 1O, 2O, 3O, 4O) [in-person at Chippewa AM)

Learning Strategies (GLS10, GLE1O)

Gr 9 - Intro to business - French (BBI10F)

Gr 10 Canadian History (CHC2D)

Grade 12 Philosophy (HZT4U)

Grade 11 Media Arts (ASM3O)

Grade 11 Financial Accounting (BAF3M)

Co-op teacher(s) for North Bay and Surrounding Area [in-person]

Co-op teacher(s) for Almaguin Region [in-person]

Co-op teacher(s) for Parry Sound Region [in-person]

The successful candidate will possess the following:

A Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate

A Valid Certificate of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers

Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents

Experience with online teaching for E-Learning course offerings

Qualifications as required in the Intermediate/Senior Divisions
