Your Role :

We are seeking a Technical Draftsman (Mechanical) for an immediate position at a manufacturing company based in Terrebonne that specializes in producing custom machines. This is a full-time, on-site day shift position (35 hours/week).

Reporting to the Technical Director, your responsibilities will include:

* Creating technical drawings and detailed plans for the manufacturing of parts and complex assemblies.
* Collaborating with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions that meet specific customer needs.
* Designing components using thermoformed plastic, taking into account mechanical and manufacturing constraints.
* Verifying the feasibility of designs by performing analyses and adjusting drawings accordingly.
* Updating and managing the technical drawing databases, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of design and production processes by providing technical ideas and solutions.
* Performing other related tasks as required.

Your Professional Skills :

* Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
* In-depth knowledge of plastic materials, particularly thermoformed plastic.
* Experience with complex mechanical assemblies.
* Understanding of industrial manufacturing processes.

Your Profile :

* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanical technical draftsman.
* Technical diploma (DEC, DEP, or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or industrial drafting.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks.
* Salary: $60k - $80k depending on experience.
* Day shift position, insurance, and 3 weeks of vacation.
