Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for full-time temporary teaching position at C. P. Blakely Elementary School (Grades K-6) in Sylvan Lake, effective the first day of the 2024-2025 school year to June 30, 2025. The successful candidate will be teaching in a grade 1/2 classroom. Preference will be given to applicants with related experience, and with the passion/ability/experience to:

teach all subjects

work collaboratively within a classroom/grade/school team

experience in early childhood, literacy and numeracy using a variety of instructional strategies to meet students where they are at.

respond to student needs through differentiated strategies and creative solutions

build relationships with staff, students, and parents

experience with Google Classroom a asset

We ask that applicants prepare both a cover letter and resume, complete with the names and telephone numbers of three current work related references.
