Chamberlain School is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 school located in Grassy Lake, AB, approximately 1 hour East of Lethbridge; it is a predominantly Low German Speaking Mennonite demographic. Our staff of 16 provide a service to approximately 113 students from Grassy Lake and area.

1.0 FTE T eaching split grades 6/7 and grades 8/9 students.

Assignment includes Math and P.E. grades 6/7 and 8/9. Science is a cycled curriculum; for the 2024/2025 school year grade 7 and 9 Science will be taught.

We are seeking a collaborative individual who has experience with providing instruction to multi-graded classrooms. This individual will be someone excited to work with junior high students and will be able to show a great amount of differentiation in both planning and teaching, to meet the needs of a diverse group of students.

Knowledge of LGM culture and EAL instruction would be an asset.

This assignment commences August 19, 2024 and concludes May 23, 2025 or upon return of incumbent.
