Toronto, Canada Greenspace Health Full time

Overview

Greenspace believes that every person accessing mental health services should receive high quality care that helps them thrive. We work everyday to empower mental health systems, service providers, and individuals in care with the Measurement-Based Care (MBC) technology, insights, and expertise they need to substantially improve how services are accessed, measured, and delivered.

Greenspace has partnered with over 500 service organizations across North America to implement MBC and improve outcomes for the people and communities they support. Innovative and intuitive MBC technology is at the core of all our solutions and is driving improvement across the full ecosystem of mental health services—from clinics, hospitals, and health systems, to the workplace or campus.

We are searching for a creative and highly-organized candidate with strong written communication and project coordination skills to join our team as Marketing and Communications Coordinator (Internship). The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will support the Marketing team by delivering on projects and activities that advance Greenspace and ensure we are top of mind anytime clinicians, clinics, hospitals, or health systems are looking to improve the quality of their mental/behavioural health or addiction services.

The Role

Are you passionate about storytelling and making a tangible impact on the quality of mental and behavioural health services? We’re looking for a dynamic copywriter who can craft, coordinate, and deliver compelling narratives that showcase the mission and value of Greenspace and MBC. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our efforts to support our Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams, ensuring that every message resonates with behavioural health clinical leaders and clinicians.

As our dedicated Marketing and Communications Coordinator, reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, you'll also play an integral role in the planning, development, and execution of Greenspace's marketing and growth initiatives to ensure the quality of our content and smooth release of marketing projects across our channels. Working on impactful projects addressing both internal and external stakeholders, you will have a keen eye for detail that ensures high-quality communications and timely execution of fulsome and effective communication plans that are responsive to the rapidly evolving mental and behavioural health landscape across North America.

As a highly organized, self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and naturally pays attention to the small details, you should have a passion for creative brainstorming and copywriting, an action-focused mindset, and the aspirational drive to make things happen. As a primary contributor on our Marketing and Growth team, you'll have ample opportunity to impact our organization, be meaningfully involved across all areas of Marketing and Growth and help shape the future of mental and behavioural health care across North America.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate communications plans and work with internal/external resources and stakeholders to execute on high-quality content plans in a timely fashion;
  • Schedule marketing activities, define project timelines, and maintain a marketing calendar;
  • Write and deploy a variety of content to support communications and marketing efforts including newsletters, website copy, press releases, social media posts, case studies, articles, client resources and more;
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of any of your work through fulsome reviews, proofreading, and testing;
  • Coordinate conference and event (virtual and in-person) plans from start to finish: I.e. planning, promotion and follow up, sales enablement, etc.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our marketing and growth strategy to further our company objectives;
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor communications activities;

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Completing or have completed an Undergraduate or Masters degree in marketing, communications or journalism, or related field, or demonstrated experience in relevant professional fields;

  • Experience with web content management systems such as Wordpress or similar;

About Greenspace

Born out of St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Greenspace Health was founded to fill a gap between the proven benefits of Measurement-Based Care in research and its implementation in practice. Since, we've worked to break down barriers to MBC implementation and empower organizations to leverage data to inform treatment decisions and drastically improve the quality of mental health care across North America. Our solutions include:

Measurement Based Care Platform: Enables mental health providers and organizations to implement consistent evidence-based measurement into their practice and leverage usage data and outcomes to inform care decisions and improve the treatment process.

Intake Module: A flexible intake solution that facilitates a more effective referral into mental health and addictions services, and allows for prioritization of care for those who need it most.

Population Health Platform: A user-facing solution that provides mental health support directly to individuals through a digital front door to all mental health resources, empowering users to track and engage with their own mental health and take more agency over their care decisions.

Our Culture

We are a startup, which means that you will have significant responsibility and an opportunity to play a pivotal role in the development and growth of our solutions. We are passionate about improving the quality of mental health care and improving the lives of millions of people. We believe in a collaborative work environment where everyone's view carries equal weight. Good ideas are good ideas and it doesn't matter whether they come from the CEO or our newest employee. Diversity

Greenspace recruits, employs, trains, compensates and promotes employees regardless of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability.

Perks

  • Tight-knit collaborative work environment where we work in teams rather than siloed individuals.
  • Flexible hybrid-remote environment with physical hubs in Kelowna, Vancouver and Toronto.
  • Ongoing mentorship, coaching and personal development opportunities from experienced team members and external resources.
  • Generous vacation and comprehensive benefits package, including paid parental leave.

This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to be in our office in Toronto, Ontario every Wednesday.
