This is a chance to work with a well-established industrial company located in a convenient area of Port Coquitlam. This is the first time this company is hiring a dedicated Marketing Manager, so you will have a lot of ‘blank canvas’ to work with. You will be working alongside an experienced team of sales and marketing professionals, and you’ll be well-supported in your role.


This company has a long history of manufacturing metal components for customers across Canada and the US. As the company continues to grow, they have identified the need to tell customers more about their brand, their values and their production capabilities. So in this role, you’ll be articulating the company’s story through a variety of traditional and digital content.


You will be working closely with the sales team to create compelling sales and marketing materials that can be shared with customers.


This is a broad role, and experience working across a wide range of marketing disciplines will be advantageous. This could include copywriting, content creation, traditional and digital marketing, trade shows, and more.


This is a full-time position, and includes a competitive base salary, paid vacation and extended health and dental benefits.


One of the attractive elements of this opportunity is to really take ownership of various aspects of this company’s marketing roadmap. Although the company is well-established, this is a relatively new investment for them. So you will have lots of opportunity to establish the various processes.

Requirements


Here are some of the items that you'll bring to the table for this role:


  • You have 5 or more years of marketing experience in an industrial environment (for example, manufacturing, heavy industry, construction or similar)
  • You have experience leading a marketing function, which includes planning, budgeting, managing vendors, choosing tools and managing projects
  • You live in the Vancouver Lower Mainland, and you are comfortable working in the office in Port Coquitlam
  • You enjoy collaborating with various other departments, including sales, production, distribution and senior leadership
