Digital Design Strategist


Role

Lead the creative vision for brand and website projects within our agency. The brand strategist will set the direction and vision for how brands are implemented and executed across the agency and how we deliver website projects.


Responsibilities

Digital Strategy (30%)

  • Lead company branding workshops and be the primary point of contact for new brand and website design projects
  • Oversee the quality of design work across design, branding and website projects
  • Drive the company’s creative portfolio vision and work with project leaders to pitch new design projects
  • Be the first to respond to new design opportunities within client accounts and spearhead new initiatives
  • Manage website and web application deployments with designers, developers and project coordinators


Design Leadership (30%)

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly
  • Content creation around design tips, hacks, and core design principles for the company's Tiktok and social media channels
  • Be an active member of the Figma and design community
  • Own the branding design process for the agency and run quarterly workshops with potential clients and design students
  • Own the agency’s design portfolio and message across company sales presentations and marketing materials


Digital Design (40%)

  • Creative briefs, mood boards, and initial design concepts for branding and web design projects
  • Collaborate with copywriters and production teams on brand vision and maintain that vision across the year’s execution of digital campaigns
  • Deliver detailed brand guidelines, creative direction and design systems
  • Ensure projects are on time and on budget with project management
  • Oversee and support design on website and branding initiatives


Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude with the ability to work remotely and perform based on KPIs
  • A strong design portfolio that shows design collaboration with 
  • Energetic personality and passion for design education
  • Bonus: you have a
  • Knowledge of Figma, design systems, auto layout, etc.
  • Knowledge of Wordpress development tools (Drag-and-drop builders, Theme Creation)
  • Working knowledge of web technologies and design software
  • Passionate about being on the right side of change and thinking ahead of the curve
  • Clear communication skills and scheduling across multiple projects
