Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Site Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the quality, compliance, and progress of on-site construction and installation activities. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical and mechanical systems are implemented in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and monitor electrical and mechanical installations on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and standards.
  • Review and verify contractor work for quality, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, deviations, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
  • Verify the use of approved materials and methods in installations.
  • Attend site meetings to provide updates and address engineering-related concerns.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in site inspection or a similar role, preferably in ICI buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, standards, and codes.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
