Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and analytical Strategic Operations Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in driving operational efficiency and supporting the successful implementation of strategic initiatives across various areas of our business. You’ll work closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to enhance processes, manage workflows, and ensure the seamless execution of new systems and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Execution: Support day-to-day operations by ensuring workflows and processes are running efficiently and helping to identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Coordination: Assist with the implementation of new systems and processes, working closely with Product Managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Process Optimization: Help analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and track the performance of operational initiatives.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain documentation for new processes and systems, ensuring clear communication across teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams across the organization to support the execution of strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Provide support on a range of additional projects and tasks that arise, contributing to the overall success of the operations team.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • Understanding of the wealth management or financial services industry
  • Completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or working towards completing it is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to work on a team
  • High degree of comfort working with different technology platforms
