The Senior Solutions Manager serves as a day-to-day contact on the account. The Sr. Solution Manager will intake business requirements for new functionality or changes to existing functionality and propose the best solution to the client with the support of the technology team. The Sr. Solution Manager will monitor business as usual and research/analyze data questions that the clients bring to them. This is a key client facing position and requires strong project management, data analysis, documentation, and client service skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on your assigned clients’ solutions. May be called on to answer questions and work on best practices for database builds, data usage, and product design.
  • Lead planning, gathering and documentation of business requirements. This will involve both interfacing with clients as well as the development team.
  • Manage status update communications to clients on a weekly to monthly cadence.
  • Guide clients and internal teams in business rule development and implementation of business rules on the database.
  • Documentation creation and management including Technical Specs, Business Requirements, process Flows, Change Requests, Test Plans, and Data Audit Reports.
  • Manage JIRA user stories, story points, and flows.
  • Test plan creation and execution.
  • Participate in standard SDLC, Agile, and UAT processes.
  • Conduct initial data analysis on input files to verify content.
  • Participate in system/database design or enhancement and communicate results effectively. Collaborate with Technical Lead on data model.
  • Perform quality assurance on data processing, data loads, reports etc.
  • Support client in UAT process.
  • Work with clients, Implementation team and all related IT departments to achieve solution-oriented results.
  • Analyze client issues.
  • Be proactive with the client guiding them to their next solution.
  • Travel as required.
  • Keep in close contact with Sales, Marketing, Development, customers, and prospects.
  • May be called on to answer questions and work on best practices for database builds as well as data usage.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or is required.
  • 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis is required.
  • 3+ years of experience on implementation or migration projects
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in process improvement, database development, data process engineering, CRM solutions, software development, or master data management is required.
  • Experience in field-related processing, direct marketing experience a plus.
  • Prior experience in implementing marketing database solution a plus.
  • Experience in Data-Driven Marketing Services, Marketing Campaigns, Database Marketing, or a related domain.
  • Intermediate to advanced level at writing queries using SQL.
  • Strong working knowledge of database solutions and implementation or migration projects.
  • Experience with SDLC as well as Agile processes and JIRA software.
  • Experience in the following is helpful: process improvement, database development, ETL tools, data process engineering, CRM solutions, software development, or master data management.
  • Knowledge of campaign, email, CDP tools such as Adobe Campaign, HCL Unica, Tealium, or SFMC a plus.
  • Experience with both on-premises database solutions (Oracle, Postgres) as well as cloud-based solutions (Redshift, Athena, Snowflake) a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interface effectively with both external clients and internal teams at all levels.
  • Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-initiative and willingness to train on new solutions and technologies.
  • Professionalism and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work within team environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
