Successful completion of a University Degree in Occupational Therapy Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario Clinical experience and expertise working with individuals with stroke and demonstrated knowledge of current stroke rehabilitation best practices. Sound understanding of the role of a variety of rehabilitation professionals in the provision of stroke rehabilitation Experience working with the stroke population in the last 3 years Experience and expertise working in community Experience in working in an interprofessional team/ Demonstrated ability to practice effectively in an inter-professional collaborative environment. Working knowledge and experience with theories and principles of guiding adult learning and patient self-management approaches. Willingness to flex time and responsibilities to meet patient needs Proven flexibility and a high level of initiative Appreciation of resource utilization and comfortable working in a virtual environment. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving and innovation skills. Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word A valid Ontario driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle.
